I recently got to install and test ConmfyUI.
To install ComfyUI in windows is easier than ever.
You can go to confy.org and download ComfyUI Portable.
Extract and use without the need to install.
Then you will also need to install ComfyUI Manager from Github.
Download the BAT file to install ComfyUI Manager from Github.Put it into the ComfyUI’s main directory and run it.
After these two installations you can run it by executing either run_cpu.bat or run_nvidia_gpu.bat depending on your hardware. After running you browse to your local machine at http://127.0.0.1:8188/ and see the GUI. You can browse the templates of all the available workflows. I selected Flux.1 Krea Dev as a good photorealistic model.
When you select it you will be prompted to install all the missing parts. Models, VAEs, Loras etc.
Install everything missing, change the settings you like and run.
How do you get good prompts? I asked GPT5 : “give me 10 genius prompts for an imaging AI. All of them should have a common theme about improvisation. Improvisation as in art, music and life in general. Each prompt of the ten should be on each own style. And make the difference between the styles as high as possible. As if ten different artists gave their impression about the act of improvisation.”
I got two versions, a simple one and a more precise. I contrast both for the ten prompts.
1. Surrealist (Dalí-esque dreamscape)

“An endless desert where melting musical instruments sprout from the sand, jazz notes float like butterflies, and a painter’s brush morphs into a saxophone mid-stroke — the chaotic elegance of improvisation painted as dream logic.”

“An endless desert where melting musical instruments sprout from the sand, jazz notes float like butterflies, and a painter’s brush morphs into a saxophone mid-stroke — improvisation as dream logic. Painted in the surrealist style of Salvador Dalí, hyper-detailed, strange shadows, dramatic skies, oil painting aesthetic, cinematic lighting, surreal colors.”
2. Abstract Expressionist (Pollock-inspired)

“A canvas exploding with unpredictable strokes of color, as if rhythm and chance collided; drips, splashes, and bold contrasts representing the spontaneity of jazz solos and unplanned life choices.”

“Improvisation as pure chaos: a canvas exploding with spontaneous strokes of color, paint splashes colliding like jazz improvisation. No recognizable forms, only dripping, splattered, violent energy. Abstract expressionist style, Pollock-inspired, chaotic brushwork, textured oil on canvas, close-up macro view of paint layers.”
3. Cubist (Picasso-style)

“A fragmented scene of musicians jamming together, their instruments fractured into geometric planes and overlapping perspectives — improvisation shown as multiple viewpoints coexisting in harmony.”

“Musicians jamming together, their faces and instruments broken into overlapping geometric planes and fragmented perspectives. Improvisation shown as fractured harmony. Cubist painting style, muted earth tones with sharp blues, Picasso-inspired, strong angular shapes, analytic cubism aesthetic.”
4. Futurist (Italian Futurism energy)

“Blurred motion lines of dancers, cyclists, and trumpeters merging into a single energetic form — improvisation as speed, technology, and spontaneous momentum.”

“Blurred figures of dancers and trumpeters morphing into bicycles and machines, all caught in motion lines of vibrant speed. Improvisation as energy, technology, and chaos. Italian Futurism style, dynamic diagonals, metallic reflections, movement captured as fractured light, strong contrasts of red, gold, and steel.”
5. Zen Ink Wash (Japanese Sumi-e)

“Minimal black ink brushstrokes flowing across white space, a single figure playing flute under a pine tree; every line unplanned yet balanced, improvisation as meditation.”

“Minimal black ink brushstrokes depicting a lone figure playing flute under a pine tree, the music drifting into abstract forms. Improvisation as mindfulness. Traditional Japanese Sumi-e painting style, white paper background, organic brushstrokes, serene, meditative, balanced composition.”
6. Cyberpunk Neon Collage

“A city of glowing holograms where street performers jam with AI instruments, graffiti forms itself in real time, and improvisation appears as neon chaos stitched into order by human instinct.”

“A futuristic city street glowing in neon lights, where humans and AI musicians improvise together on holographic instruments, graffiti generates itself in real-time. Improvisation as urban chaos stitched with rhythm. Cyberpunk aesthetic, neon color palette, cinematic cityscape, rain-slick streets, Blade Runner atmosphere, ultra-detailed digital painting.”
7. Renaissance Allegory (Da Vinci/Caravaggio)

“A grand oil painting of a mythological figure personifying Improvisation, holding a lute and juggling paintbrushes, surrounded by astonished angels — chiaroscuro lighting highlighting the divine spontaneity of creation.”

“An allegorical painting of Improvisation personified as a mythological figure holding a lute and juggling paintbrushes, surrounded by astonished angels. Dramatic chiaroscuro lighting, rich oil painting textures, 16th-century Renaissance style, detailed anatomy, classical symbolism, divine atmosphere.”
8. Naïve / Folk Art

“A childlike, colorful village scene where people paint on walls, dance barefoot, and invent games with whatever objects they find — improvisation as the pure, untrained joy of life.”

“A joyful village scene where children dance barefoot, people paint walls spontaneously, and music emerges from everyday objects. Improvisation as innocent creativity. Folk art style, bright colors, flat perspective, childlike simplicity, hand-painted texture, playful mood, primitive patterns.”
9. Dada / Absurdist Collage

“A chaotic collage of cut-out magazines: a violin bow made of spaghetti, a clock playing drums, a man wearing a piano as a hat — improvisation as absurd freedom from logic.”

“Improvisation as absurd freedom: a violin bow made of spaghetti, a clock playing drums, a man wearing a piano as a hat. Chaotic magazine cutouts collaged together in nonsensical arrangements. Dada style, absurdist humor, mixed-media collage look, bold text fragments, random juxtapositions.”
10. Sci-Fi Visionary (Alex Grey meets Moebius)

“Interdimensional beings weaving light patterns into music, each improvisation creating entire galaxies — a cosmic view of spontaneity as the source of universal evolution.”

“Cosmic beings weaving light patterns into symphonies, each improvisation generating new galaxies. Spontaneous creation as the engine of evolution. Visionary art style, glowing sacred geometry, psychedelic colors, detailed linework, Moebius-inspired landscapes, Alex Grey-inspired cosmic anatomy, ultrafine detail.”
