Very sad news. Just found out about Paco de Lucia’s death. Today’s news report that he died in Cancun, Mexico, from a heart attack whilst playing on a beach with his kids. He was 66 years old.

It’s very sad for all the guitar loving community. He has been a true legend for musicians and especially guitarists all over the world. My wish would normally be “rest in peace”. But not for Paco. No rest… Just an eternal jam in guitar paradise together with Django, Wes, and Jimmy.
